Swahili bootcamp
We're going to Swahili bootcamp in Iringa for a two weeks! I'm not sure if we'll have any internet access while we're there so there may not be new posts for awhile. We hope everyone is well and enjoying summer!
Congrats Cotter Lab!! That's great news! I don't know what hope Brandt has of getting a lab setup here considering how hard it was for you guys there. Still haven't received the package you sent. Do you have any tracking information?
Jambo! Now an opportunity to use my Swahili from when I had a guest from Kenya come to school for a day. Actually I can also count and do a few other words, but no sentences. Dad and I thought it was funny when you spoke to us in Swahili. Brought back memories of you coming home from Cochabamba and talking to us at the dinner table in Spanish when Poppy asked you a question. Next time we'll have to hear from Brandt to see how his Swahili is doing. :) I think it is great that you both have taken the time to learn the language! Kwaheri!
